The Greatest of the Grape is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Umpqua Valley Winegrowers Association. As you may be aware, we are a non-profit member organization dedicated to promoting the wineries and vineyards located in Douglas County.
Our goal with the Greatest of the Grape is to raise money, but also demonstrate the quality and diverse variety of wines made in our appellation. We are also a voice for the vineyards & wineries in our region–advocating for the Umpqua Valley as we try to compete on a national stage.
This event has changed a lot over the years, but two things remain the same: the passion of the winemakers and grape growers in the Umpqua Valley, and the unwavering support from our local community.
